NAOGAON, July 27, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcycle rider was killed in a road accident in Laxmirampur area of Bhaline union under Manda upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was Nayeem Sheikh, 27, son of Seherdi Sheikh of Dharmahata area in Paba Police Station, Rajshahi.
The accident took place around 1.30 pm when a battery-run auto rickshaw collided head-on with a motorcycle, leaving its rider Nayeem injured critically, said Munsur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Manda Police Station.
Injured Nayeem was taken to Mahadevpur Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
