Army provides free treatments to 1,500 patients in Cumilla

CUMILLA, July 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Army organised a free medical camp today in the city as part of the 'July Punarjagoran' Programme, offering vital healthcare services to local residents.

Free medical treatment and necessary medicines were provided to 1,500 local patients at the camp organised at the Engineers Institution in Shaktala of the city this morning.

Special doctors from medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and orthopedics provided treatments to 1500 helpless, poor people under the initiative of the 33 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army.


A field operation theater was also set up, where the required number of minor operations were performed.
