Army provides free treatment to 1,000 patients in Sherpur

SHERPUR, July 28, 2025 (BSS) - Free medical services and medicines were provided to more than 1,000 underprivileged people in Sribardi upazila of the district this morning as part of the July Punarjagaron Program-2025.

The 19th Infantry Division of Bangladesh Army and Ghatail Area Command jointly organized the day-long medical camp at Kakilakura High School in Sribardi upazila.

Medical, gynecological, and ophthalmological specialists, under the supervision of the 19th Infantry Division, provided healthcare services to the patients.

Besides free treatment, essential medicines were distributed among the patients. A total of 150 eye patients were also given eyeglasses free of cost.
