BOGURA, July 28, 2025 (BSS) - A truck driver was killed and its helper injured in a road accident in Mahasthan Nagarkandi Hatibandha area under Shibganj upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Monir Hossain, 28, son of Mazarul Islam of Goleyapara village in Panchagarh Sadar upazila. 

The accident-took place on the Bogura-Rangpur highway when the truck hit another standing truck beside the road, leaving its driver monir dead on the spot and helper Lion Mia injured.

The injured was admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. 

Officer-in-Charge of Kunderhat Highway Police Station Nirmal Chandra Mahanta confirmed the matter.
