Elderly man electrocuted in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, July 30, 2025 (BSS) - An elderly man died from electrocution at Gunai village under Baniachang upazila of the district today. 

The deceased was Bishu Pal, 64, a resident of the same area.

Bishu Pal came in contact with a live electric wire in an ongoing wedding ceremony at his house.

He was rushed to Habiganj Sadar Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Baniachang Police Station Kabir Hossain confirmed the incident.
