32 kg venison seized in Khulna

KHULNA, July 30, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Coast Guard seized 32 kg of venison from Patakhali area of the district last night.

On a tip-off, a Coast Guard team conducted a drive in the area around 11 pm and recovered the venison in an abandoned condition, said Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq.

Sensing the presence of Coast Guard the deer poachers fled away, he said.

The seized venison was handed over to the Bajbaja Forest Office for further legal action.
