2 held with huge ESKuf, phensedyl in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, Aug 15 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in two separate raids seized 122 bottles of ESKuf and 211 bottles of phensedyl and arrested two alleged drug dealers from different places of Lalmonirhat district on Thursday.

On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 conducted a raid at Sebokdas village under Kaliganj Police Station of Lalmonirhat, seized 122 bottles of contraband ESKuf and arrested a man at 6:20 am, said a press release. 

The arrestee was identified as Kamal Chandra Roy, 41, son of Jagoram Roy of the same village.

Later, at about 7:40 am, the same team carried out another raid at Ghongagach village under the same police station, arresting Partha Roy Kajal, 25, son of Montu Chandra Roy and seizing 211 bottles of Phensedyl along with two motorbikes.
 
The detainees with the seized drugs were handed over to Kaliganj Police Station in Lalmonirhat.
