KHULNA, Aug 23, 2025 (BSS) - Khulna city unit BNP in a meeting today formed a committee to celebrate the 47th founding anniversary of the party on September 1.

Unit BNP president Advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona and general secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin were made adviser and convener of the committee respectively.

Sheikh Sadi, Masud Parvez Babu, Chowdhury Hasanur Rashid Miraz and presidents and secretaries of all thana units and heads of BNP's associate bodies were included as members of the celebration committee.

The decision was made in a joint meeting of Khulna city unit BNP and its associate bodies, held at a city hotel on Saturday.

Presiding over the meeting, Advocate Shafiqul Alam alleged some vested quarters are spreading propaganda to break the morale of BNP leaders and activists across the country.

He urged party men to remain aware of conspiracy against BNP.
