FENI, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - The DC Gold Cup Football Tournament began in Feni today as part of the nationwide "Tarunnyer Utsob (Youth Fest) - 2025." Feni Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saiful Islam inaugurated the tournament this evening at the Language Martyr Salam Stadium. 

The opening match was played between Fulgazi Upazila and Feni Sadar Upazila teams.

Officials from various government departments, representatives from cultural and religious organizations, as well as leaders and activists from different political parties attended the inaugural ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Saiful Islam said the event was organized under the Tarunnyer Utsob-2025 programme to engage the youth in positive activities and keep them away from drugs, harassment and other social vices.

He expressed hope that such initiatives would help nurture responsible citizens and build a healthy, harmonious society.
