LALMONIRHAT, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS) –Two persons were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in the Mokaddesnagar area of Saniajan Union, Hatibandha upazila this evening.

The deceased were identified as Sabuj, 26, son of Dulal Mia from Nayankhola Dangarhat in Kishoreganj Upazila, Nilphamari district and Fahim Mia ,28, also ,  a resident of the same area. 
The injured, Sohag ,27, was immediately rescued by locals and taken to Hatibandha Upazila Health Complex for treatment.

According to witnesses, one motorcycle, traveling from Doani Bridge, collided head-on with another coming from the opposite direction, leaving both riders dead on the spot. 

Hatibandha Highway Police In-Charge (OC) Abu Sayeed Chowdhury confirmed the accident .
