RANGPUR, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested an alleged female drug trafficker with 153.20 grams of heroin in a raid at Batason Fatehpur Dakshinpara under Mithapukur police station in the district on Sunday afternoon.

The detainee was identified as Najma Begum, 40, daughter of late Kachhed Ali of Goggram village under Godagari police station in Rajshahi district.

On a tip-off, the Crime Prevention Specialised Company (CPSC) of RAB-13 conducted the raid and arrested the woman with the contraband heroin from the spot at 1:40 pm, a RAB press release said.

Later, the elite force handed over the arrested woman to Mithapukur police station for further legal action.
