KISHOREGANJ, Aug 26, 2025 (BSS) - The biennial council of the district 
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will be held on September 10 next at the 
town's old stadium. 

A preparatory meeting was held this afternoon at the district Shilpakala 
Academy auditorium to make the conference a success. 

Mymensingh Divisional BNP organising secretary and district BNP president Md. 
Shariful Alam presided over the meeting while its general secretary Mazharul 
Islam conducted the programme.

Leaders of the district BNP and its affiliate organisations were present at 
the meeting. 

The speakers in the meeting said that the district BNP council is going to be 
held after a long time. Through this council, a new momentum will be created 
in the party's organisational activities. 

They expressed their hope that the party's leaders and activists from the 
grassroots to the top level will unite around the council and strengthen the 
party.
