Human chain formed in Sunamganj demanding justice for disappeared

SUNAMGANJ, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS) - A human chain was formed today in the district on the occasion of the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, demanding justice for the victims.

The Sunamganj branch of the human rights organization Adhikar organized the human chain at 11:30 am at the Alfat Udni Square Traffic Point in Sunamganj Municipality.

At the programme, families of the disappeared demanded justice and the return of their loved ones. 

The event, moderated by human rights activist Muhammad Amanul Haque, was addressed by Suhel Ahmed, president of Zila Shramik Oikya Parishad; Latfiur Rahman Raju, president of the Sunamganj Press Club; rights activist Nurul Hasan Atahar; and others.
