JHENAIDAH, Sept 3, 2025 (BSS) - Maskalai dal seeds and chemical fertilizers were distributed among 300 small and marginal farmers in Kaliganj upazila of the district under the agri incentive program in Kharif 2025-26 season.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Dedarul Islam distributed the incentives among the farmers at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises this morning.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Mahbub Alam Roni presided over the function.

Additional Agricultural Extension Officer Aktaruzzaman Mia, Additional Agricultural Officer Imdad Hasan, District Representative of Bangladesh Betar Md. Ahsan Kabir and local media worker Oliyar Rahman were present, among others, at the function.

Under the program, 300 selected farmers of the upazila have been provided with five kg of seeds, 10 kg of DAP and five kg of MOP fertilizer for cultivating Maskalai.
