MAGURA, Sept 14. 2025 (BSS) - The joint forces arrested two people with firearms early today in the Magura Sadar Upazila of the district.

The arrested were identified as Md.Mustak Hossain (46) and Md.Daud Ali Biswas (37), sons of late Rustam Ali Biswas of Parla villag in the Sadar Upazila.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Magura Sadar Upazila Ayub Ali told BSS that, “We have recovered one Chinese pistol, two rounds of ammunition and seven local weapons. They also had one magazine and two mobile phones in their possession”.

He said the arrested were handed over to Magura Sadar Police Station.

Preparations are underway to take necessary legal actions against the arrested.
