KHAGRACHHARI, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - Police in a drive arrested a fugitive 
life-term convict in a murder case from his house at Rashik Nagar under 
Dighinala upazila of the district early this morning.

The arrested was identified as Fajar Ali, a resident of the same area.

According to police, Fazar Ali called a man named Musharraf on April 13, 
2018, talking about buying and selling tractors at Rashik Nagar. Musharraf was later beaten and killed.

Police recovered the body from the scene on the same day. Fazar Ali was 
arrested after the incident, but he was out on bail and fled for a long time. 

Later, the court sentenced the main accused Fazar Ali to life imprisonment 
and fined Taka 5,000. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dighinala Police Station Zakaria said, "Fajr Ali 
has been arrested and he has been handed over to the court."
