18.4pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 22

DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 18.4 percent reaching $2,095 million in the first 22 days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,769 million.

During the July to September 22, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $6,995 million, which was $5,906 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
