DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS)- Chattogram and Rangamati districts emerged men's 
and women's division champions respectively in Karnaphuli zone of the 
National Kabaddi competition (men's and women's) that concluded at Cumilla 
gymnasium today (Tuesday).

In the men's division, Chattogram district beat host Cumilla district by 34-
33 points in the keenly contested final while Rangamati district defeated 
Khagrachhari district by 31-13 points in the women's division final match.

Earlier, on way to the final, Cumilla beat Rangamati by 32-16 points in the 
first men's division semifinal while Chattogram defeated Noakhali by 43-21 
points in the second semis.
   
On Monday last, Rangamati district continued their excellent performance on 
their way to becoming the undefeated champions in the women's division final.

Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Md. Amirul Kaiser was the chief guest in the 
final and distributed the prizes. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner (general), Md. Saiful Islam and Bangladesh 
Kabaddi Federation general secretary SM Newaz Sohag were also present as the 
special guests in the prize distribution ceremony.

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation organised the National Kabaddi meet marking the 
Festival of Youth.
