Medicine shop fined Tk 50,000 in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANJ, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - The National Consumer Rights Protection 
Department today fined a medicine shop Taka 50,000 for storing and displaying 
expired medicines in the district town.

A team of the department conducted a drive at Bagmamudali Para of Munshiganj 
Municipality and fined Lazz Pharma Taka 50,000 for storing and displaying 
expired medicines. 

The drive was conducted by Asif Al Azad, assistant director of the Munshiganj 
District Office of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department.

Sadar Upazila Sanitary Inspector Md. Jamal Uddin Molla and Sadar Upazila CAB 
General Secretary Shahnaz Begum were present during the drive.
