BOGURA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - A truck helper was killed in a road accident in the Dighalkandi Majhipara area under Shibganj upazila of the district early this morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known.

The accident occurred around 5:30 am on the Rangpur-Bogura highway when a bus hit a stationary truck after its driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the truck's helper critically injured, said Kunderhat Highway Police Officer-in-Charge Hafizur Rahman.

The injured was taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
