HABIGANJ, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested two men for their alleged involvement in drug peddling from Olipur Rail Crossing area in Shayestaganj of Habiganj district.

The arrestees were Saiful Alam, 48, son of Shukkur Ali, of Chhalimpur village of Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram district and Rubel Hossain, 30, son of Ruhul Amin, of Korital area of Lakshmipur Sadar upazila.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB raided Olipur Rail Crossing area and arrested the duo with 54 kilograms of Ganza.

They were handed over Shayestaganj Police Station for next legal action.
