BGB seizes smuggled Indian sarees, medicines

SATKHIRA, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today seized huge quantity of smuggled Indian sarees and medicines from different border areas of Satkhira Sadar and Kolaroa thana.

On a tip-off, different teams of BGB raided Taluigacha, Hijaldi, Madra, Boikari, Jhaudanga, Sultanpur and Chanduria areas and seized Indian sarees and medicines worth about Taka 6.60 lakh in abandon condition. 

Satkhira BGB 33 Battalion Captain Lieutenant Colonel Md Ashraful Haque confirmed the matter.
