NARSINGDI, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS) – A free medical camp was held for the distressed people at Dewan village in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi district.

The day-long medical camp started from 9:00 am today. A total of 25 doctors provided treatment to patients along with supplying necessary medicines. Around two thousand people received medical services during the camp.

The overall supervision of the camp was conducted by Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel, Assistant Volunteer Affairs Secretary of BNP’s central committee.

Locals expressed their excitement at receiving such an initiative in a remote area.

Abdul Kader Bhuiyan said that “Quality healthcare has not yet been ensured for marginalized people in Bangladesh. Although there are hospitals at the upazila level, the quality of services at the union level is very poor. If BNP comes to power, the health sector will be restructured anew.”
