Free Medical Camp set up in Natore marking Durga Puja

NATORE, Oct 2, 2025 (BSS) – On the occasion of Durga Puja, a medical camp was set up at Damdama Dattapara Durga Temple on Wednesday in Singra upazila of Natore district. 

The temple committee set up the medical camp for providing treatment facilities and medicines.

Around 2,000 distressed and helpless individuals received medical treatment. Medicines worth Taka 2 lakh were distributed among them free of cost.

A team of 8 specialist doctors including Dr.Shantanu Kumar Saha, Dr Soheluddin, among others, provided medical services.  

Temple Committee President Shib Shankar Dutta, General Secretary Shankar Chakraborty and leaders of Hindu community, among others were present at the medical camp. 

Dr. Shantanu Kumar Saha, organizer of the medical camp said, “We have been arranging the free medical camp since the past 17 years to serve the underprivileged people”.
