MOULVIBAZAR, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) – Moulavibazar district police has launched a special service desk named 'Your SP' to provide police services at the doorsteps of the common people.

Launched with the slogan "Speak directly, solve your own problems", the mass people of the district will now be able to talk directly to the Superintendent of Police (SP) through video calls from their own police stations using the service.

Special 'Your SP Desk' has been set up in seven police stations of the district.

A woman operator nominated by the SP will assist citizens at each desk. As a result of this initiative, people won’t need to visit district headquarters to file a complaint or seek police services.

Citizens will be able to talk to the SP at their own police stations and report their problems or grievances.

Besides, police members of distant police stations will also be able to communicate with the SP through video calls and inform them of their problems.

After being operational on a trial basis for about one and a half months, Superintendent of Police MKH Jahangir Hossain officially inaugurated the service this afternoon at the conference room of the Moulvibazar Police Superintendent's office.

The Superintendent of Police said, "'Your SP' is a digital service desk. Through this, both time and money of the common people will be saved. This initiative has been taken to reduce the suffering of the people and provide services quickly. In addition, it will be possible to bring the field level police members under accountability."

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Noble Chakma, PPM Additional Superintendent of Police (Kulaura Circle) Md. Ajmal Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Abul Khair, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Srimangal Circle) Wahiduzzaman Raju, Officer-in-Charge of seven police stations in the district and other officials were present at the inauguration ceremony.
