BRAHMANBARIA, Oct 26, 2025 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) has arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 40 kg of ‘Ganja’ from Nasirnagar upazila of the district.

The arrestees are -Md Sajid Mia, 23, Swapan Mia, 32 and Sabbir Mia, 27. 

On a tip-off, a joint operation team of RAB-9, CPC-3, Shaistaganj Camp, Habiganj and CPC-1, Brahmanbaria, conducted a drive in Nasirnagar Police Station area on Saturday and arrested them with the ‘Ganja’, a RAB official said this morning.

 A case has been filed against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act with Nasirnagar Police Station.
