KHULNA, Oct 26, 2025 (BSS) - BNP central executive committee member and student affairs secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul has urged all to remain vigil against those who create confusion in the name of religion.

He made the call while inaugurating the extension work of Baytul Najat Nurani Mosque and Madrasa Academy at Baikali Boro Boyra in Khulna’s Khalishpur area on Saturday evening.

Bakul said voters must act responsibly in the upcoming national election. “If someone comes to seek your vote, ask them—where were you all this time, and what have you done for the people?” he told the gathering.

Highlighting the importance of faith-based education, he added, “Our children need both moral and spiritual strength. Madrasa institutions uphold Islamic values, so we must strengthen them further.”

Earlier, Bakul laid the foundation stone for a deep tube-well installation near Haji Shariat Ullah School rail crossing in Khalishpur, an initiative aimed at providing pure drinking water to locals.
