3 killed, five injured in Jamalpur road accident

JAMALPUR, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) -  At least three people were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Dikpait area in Sadar upazila of the district this afternoon.
 
The deceased were Rashed,30, Arifa Khatun, 28, and M Chan Miah,65.

“The accident occurred when a covered van collided head-on with a battery-run easy bike, leaving the easy bike passenger Rashed dead on the spot and seven others injured, “said Najmus Sakib, Officer-in-Charge of Jamalpur Sadar Police Station.
 
Arifa Khatun died on the way to the hospital.
 
Six others injured were taken to Jamalpur General Hospital where Chan Miah succumbed to his injuries.
 
Later, three were shifted to Mymensigh Medical College Hospital.
