3 held with huge contraband syrup in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, Oct 31, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 has seized 314 bottles of Phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested three alleged drug dealers from the Kumdirihat Bridge area under Aditmari Police Station of Lalmonirhat. 

The arrestees were identified as Md Sahir Uddin, 35, of Mahisthali village, Md Zahurul Islam, 36, of Mahisthali Dingar Para and Md Zahar Ali, 38, of Dulali Bazar under Aditmari Upazila of the district. 

According to a RAB press release, acting on a tip-off, an operational team of the RAB-13's Sadar Company from its Rangpur battalion headquarters conducted a raid on Thursday afternoon, seized the contraband drugs and arrested the trio from the spot. 
 
The elite force later handed over the arrested persons along with seized drugs to Aditmari Police Station for further legal action.
