NARAIL, Nov 05, 2025 (BSS) - Police today arrested local Awami League leader and Tularampur Union Parishad chairman Tipu Sultan on charge of attacking students and masses during July Uprising on August 4, 2024.

On a tip-off, a team of police raided Tularampur area in Sadar upazila of the district and arrested Sultan.

He was sent to jail after being produced before a court.
