Fish trader killed in Satkhira road accident

SATKHIRA, Nov 10, 2025 (BSS) - A fish trader was killed and another injured in a road accident at Tuzulpur in Sadar upazila here this noon.

The deceased was Abdul Alim, 37, a resident of Brajbaksa village in Kalaroa upazila of the district.

The accident took place on Satkhira-Jashore road around 12 noon when a truck hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction, leaving bike rider Alim dead on the spot and injuring another, said Inspector (Investigation) of Sadar Police Station Shafiqul Islam.

Injured Akhter Hossain has been admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
