BOGURA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended financial assistance to party leaders and activists in Bogura suffering from cancer, kidney complications, and other critical illnesses. 
 
The aid was distributed on Saturday at 11.30 am at the district BNP office, where District BNP President Rezaul Karim Badsha handed over the support on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
 
During the program, financial assistance was provided to eight cancer patients, with individual grants ranging from Taka 50,000 to Taka 4 lakh. 
 
Additionally, six patients suffering from kidney and other serious diseases received assistance between Taka 35,000 and Taka 2.10 lakh.
 
The event was attended by BNP National Executive Committee members and former MPs Kazi Rafiqul Islam, Ali Azgar Talukder Hena, Joynal Abedin Chan, and District BNP Acting General Secretary and former MP Mosharraf Hossain, among others.
 
District BNP Vice Presidents MR Islam Swadhin and Maftun Ahmed Khan Rubel; Organizing Secretary Shahid Un Nabi Salam; leaders KM Khairul Bashar, Zahidul Islam Helal, Sheikh Tahauddin Nahin, Moniruzzaman Moni, Enamul Haque Notun, Ziaul Haque Lipon; Office Secretary Advocate Humayon; Cashier Shahadat Hossain; BNP leaders Nurul Huda Tilak, Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, Solaiman Ali, Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Shamim Reza Shamim, and Raju Hossain Paikar addressed the event.
 
Leaders from affiliated organizations were also present, including District Women's Party President Shahzadi and General Secretary Nazma Akhter, District Krishak Dal Convener Saiful Islam Roni and Member Secretary Enamul Haque Sumon, and District Jubo Dal Organizing Secretary Harunur Rashid.
