MANIKGANJ, Jan 7, 2026 (BSS) - The National Animal Resource Week-2026 concluded today here in the district with a lively discussion held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office.

The week-long programme was organized under the auspices of the Manikganj District and Manikganj Sadar Upazila Animal Resource offices.

Manikganj Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana attended the concluding event as the chief guest. The discussion session was chaired by District Animal Resource Officer Dr. Mozibur Rahman.

Among others, District Veterinary Officer Dr. A.B.M. Rezzaqul Haider and Manikganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mousumi Nasrin addressed the programme as special guests.

At the end of the event, prizes were distributed among the best performers of the stalls that participated in the week-long animal exhibition.
