BNP's 3-day election workshop begins in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 14, 2026 (BSS) - On the occasion of the upcoming 13th Jatiya 
Sangsad (JS) Election, a three-day election workshop began at Haque Community 
Center on the Station Road in the city today. 
 
The BNP Election Management Committee of Rangpur-3 (Sadar) constituency is 
organising the workshop for the party's potential polling agents and other 
officials in the upcoming 13th Parliamentary Polls.
 
Rangpur Metropolitan BNP member-secretary Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don 
formally inaugurated the workshop with the convener of the BNP Election 
Management Committee of Rangpur-3 (Sadar) constituency Sultan Alam Bulbul in 
the chair.
 
Rangpur Metropolitan BNP convener and BNP's nominated candidate for Rangpur-3 
(Sadar) constituency, Md Shamsuzzaman Samu, was present as the chief guest at 
the event. 
 
Senior joint convener of Rangpur Metropolitan BNP and former general 
secretary of Carmichael College Central Students Union Md Shahidul Islam Mizu 
addressed the workshop on the first day today as the keynote speaker.
 
Mizu suggested the probable polling agents to abide by the election-related 
laws, rules and regulations and discharge their responsibilities in the 
polling centers of the 13th JS polls for ensuring a free, fair and 
transparent election.
 
Rangpur Metropolitan Jubo Dal convener Nurunnabi Chowdhury Milon, senior 
joint convener Jahir Alam Nayan, member-secretary Atiqul Islam Lelin, 
Metropolitan Krishak Dal convener Shah Newaz Labu, Metropolitan Swechchasebak 
Dal convener Imran Hossain, Metropolitan Chhatra Dal member-secretary Rabiul 
Islam Robi, and leaders of BNP and its affiliated organisations were present, 
among others, at the event.
