BNP election campaign meeting, doa mahfil held in Bogura

BOGURA, Jan 22, 2026 (BSS) - A discussion meeting and doa mahfil were held in the district as part of the election campaign of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman for the Bogra-6 (Sadar) constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election.

The programme was organized by Ward No-1 BNP of the Bogura municipal area on Wednesday afternoon.

Ward BNP President Mainul Islam Ujjal presided over the meeting, while BNP National Executive Committee member and former Bogura district BNP president VP Saiful Islam attended as the chief guest. Ward BNP General Secretary Zahidul Islam conducted the programmes.

Among the special guests were Bogura Press Club General Secretary Kalam Azad, Twon BNP Senior Vice President Mashiur Rahman Shamim, former District Volunteer Party president and councillor Shah Md Mehedi Hasan Himu, District Women’s Party Acting President Shahazadi Anjuman Ara Laili, District Sramik Party Organising Secretary Rajedur Rahman Raju and District Chhatra Dal Vice President Shoaib Islam Abhi.

Following the discussion, a doa mahfil was held seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and their son Arafat Rahman Koko.
