188 get financial assistance in Khulna

KHULNA, Mar 16, 2026 (BSS) - Financial assistance was distributed among 188 people including July fighters in Khulna today.

Divisional Commissioner Md Mokhtar Ahmed distributed the assistance in an occasion this afternoon at his office.

Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner said the government provides the financial assistance every year to support helpless and underprivileged people. This support will bring some relief to the families ahead of the upcoming Eid, he hoped.

A total of Taka 18.72 lakh was distributed among 188 beneficiaries.

Senior officials of the administration were present.
