CHATTOGRAM, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has issued special traffic management instructions for the DC Hill and CRB areas of the city on the occasion of Pohela Baishakh 1433.

The measures will remain in force from 6 am to 6 pm on April 14. Roadblocks and diversions will be set up around Nazrul Square and CRB Sirishtala to facilitate cultural programmes.

Traffic movement in the DC Hill and CRB Sirishtala areas will be strictly controlled during the Pohela Boishakh celebrations. Key intersections will have roadblocks to regulate vehicle movement and ensure public safety.

Drivers and passengers have been advised to use alternative routes and follow police instructions for a smooth and safe celebration. The DC Hill and CRB areas in Chattogram usually draw large crowds during Pohela Boishakh cultural events.
