Job fair held in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, April 16, 2026 (BSS) - A job fair and seminar were held in the district today with the aim of ensuring employment for technically educated youth.

The day-long fair, funded by the “SET” project under the Directorate of Technical Education, was organised on the premises of Gopalganj Government Technical School and College.

A seminar was held at 10am in the institution’s conference room, where Deputy Commissioner Md Arif-uz-Zaman attended as the chief guest.

Later, he inaugurated the job fair by cutting a ribbon at the college grounds and visited the stalls of 11 participating organisations.

During the event, he spoke with job-seeking youths and stall representatives, highlighting the importance of technical education.

Principal of Gopalganj Government Technical School and College, Engineer Md Nurul Haque, chaired the event.
Teachers, officials, staff members and job-seeking students of the college were present at the event.
