RAJSHAHI, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-5, Rajshahi Sadar Company, conducted a raid in Terokhadia Poshchimpara village under Rajpara Police Station in the city last night.
They arrested two drug dealers along with 36 kg and 700 grams of cannabis.
The cannabis was seized after a search of the residence of the arrested accused. The arrested individuals are: Shahjahan Ali, 58, the son of the late Soleman Sarkar of Terokhadia Poshchimpara, and his son, Ridwan Islam Hridoy, 30.
At the time, 2 mobile phones and three SIM cards were also seized from the accused.
A case against the arrested individuals has been lodged with the Rajpara Police Station.
