DHAKA, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - The government has appointed Additional Secretary Shahina Ferdousi as the new Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE).

A gazette issued by the Ministry of Public Administration confirmed the appointment today.

Shahina Ferdousi has been posted as DG of the Directorate of Primary Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on deputation, said the gazette.

Prior to this posting, she served as the Executive Director of the Bangladesh Dairy Development Board.
