CHATTOGRAM, June 3, 2026 (BSS) - An elderly physically challenged woman was killed after being hit by the Cox's Bazar-bound Cox's Bazar Express train near the South Demsa Board Office area in Satkania upazila.

The deceased was identified as Nurunnahar, 60, a resident of the South Demsa Board Office area in Satkania.

Confirming the incident, Assistant Station Master of Satkania Railway Station Nazim Uddin said railway police recovered the body from the spot.
