BAGERHAT, June 24, 2026 (BSS) - An anti-drug and anti-terrorism rally was held in Bagerhat, with speakers calling for united efforts to prevent drug abuse, terrorism, eve-teasing and juvenile crime.

The rally, organized by Khanjahan Ali Mission, was held at Barakpur Bazar on Tuesday. Bagerhat Superintendent of Police Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar attended the programme as the chief guest.

Speakers stressed the need for cooperation between the administration and people from all walks of life to address social crimes and build a safer society. They also emphasized engaging youths in sports, education and social activities to keep them away from drugs and other social menaces.
