58 crime suspects held in Tejgaon

DHAKA, June 24, 2026 (BSS) – A total of 58 individuals involved in various criminal activities were arrested during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Tejgaon Division in the last 24 hours.

“They were arrested during a regular anti-crime campaign at various crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon division on June 23,” according to a press release issued by the DMP’s media relation division here today.

It said police produced them before the court.    

The arrestees are – Md Babu Mia (23), Md Rabiul Islam Roni (21), Md Abir Hossain (24), Md Wasim (24), Md Shahidul Islam (35), Md Habibur Rahman (27), Rozina (38), Sonia (26), Seema Selina (43), Umme Kulsum Sumi (41), Md Monir Hossain alias Samrat (36), Md Saiful Sardar (29), Md Mostafizur Razman Sohag, Ekramul Haolhisj, Md Swapan (18), Md Farhad (17), Md Faisal Ahmed (38), Md Sumon (28), Md Ajmal Hossain (29), Md Noor Ali (20), Md Al-Amin (18), Rubaiyat Al Muslim Golam Rabbi (21), Md Pavel (21), Md Milon (30), Md Rakib (24), Md Mizan (18), Md Ariful Islam Proprincess, Md Arman Islam (20), Md Swapan (35), Md Habib (30), Md Jamal (35), Md Wahid (30), Md Arif (24), Risalat Shahriar (35), Rabeya Khatun (30), Md Chan Mia (40), Md Amir Hamza (25), Md Munna (24), Mohammad Ali (30), Md Khokon Talukder (45), Md Sujan (20), Md Arman (18), Md Ashiq (19), Md Apu Islam alias Shakib (18), Md Swapan (20), Md Motaleb Hossain (42), Md Yasin (22), Sagorika Akhter Borna (23), Md Roni (41), Mehedi Hasan, Anwar Hossain (35), 

Md Mazharul Islam (26), Md Hanif (24), Md Al-Amin (28), Md Sohel Rana (28), Md Raihan (29), Md Shamsul Molla (50) and Md Abbas Ali (36).

The DMP release said that among them, Tejgaon Police Station arrested 11, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station five, Mohammadpur Police Station 23, Adabor Police Station eight Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station nine and Hatirjheel Police Station two.
