MANIKGANJ, July 25, 2026 ( BSS) - Two motorcyclists were killed in an accident on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Dhamrai area of the district today. 

The deceased were identified as Sujoy Saha son of Ashutosh Saha of Shibabalaya upazila in the district and Abas Saha, son of Jagannath Saha, a 
resident of Dandabor area of Savar and also an HSC examinee of the current year.

According to locals, the accident occurred when the motorcyclists reduced the speed of their bike seeing a stopped passenger bus in front of them. At the 
meantime, another running bus knocked their motorcycle in the area, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. A case was filed with the concerned police station in this connection.
