JHALOKATHI, Sept 6, 2026 (BSS) - A rest house was inaugurated today at the Bhimruli floating guava garden area in Sadar Upazila of the district for the convenience of tourists.

At the same time, dustbins were distributed among local residents as part of initiatives for floating waste treatment and green boat-certified tourism to promote cleanliness and environmental protection.

Jhalokathi deputy commissioner Md. Momin Uddin inaugurated the rest house built at a cost of Taka 750,000.
