DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) – Fact-checking platform BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified that a video of arson attack on a bus that took place in 2023 is being circulated as a recent one.

BanglaFact's investigation found that the video of the bus being set on fire is not recent. 

In fact, the fact-check and media research team of BanglaFact mentioned that this video of setting fire to a bus by miscreants occurred during the previous Awami League government's tenure in November 18, 2023. The incident centered around the announcement of the schedule for the national parliamentary elections held on January 7, 2024.
