DHAKA, Aug 20, 2025 (BSS) - Fact-checking platform BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a misleading video claiming the footage of vandalism and arson at the ancestral home of Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul which is actually an old video of arson at the house of former Comilla-6 MP AKM Bahauddin Bahar. 

In a statement, BanglaFact mentioned that an old video is being circulated on the social media claiming it as the footage of vandalism and arson at the ancestral home of Law Adviser Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul. 

BanglaFact investigation team found that the video is not true; this is actually an old one.
 
They indentified that it is the footage of vandalism and arson at the home of former Comilla-6 MP AKM Bahauddin Bahar on February 6 this year.
