DHAKA, Sept 04, 2025 (BSS) - BanglaFact, a fact-checking and media research team of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a photocard, with comments of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan on "grass suitable for human consumption should be planted" which is actually fake.

BanglaFact's investigation found an edited photocard circulating in the name of Samakal distorting the comments of Rizwana Hasan.

The investigation team showed that the photocard with the logo and design of Samakal was recently circulated on social media Facebook claiming that Syeda Rizwana Hasan had made a comment that "grass suitable for human consumption should be planted".

However, the team verified that Samakal had not published any photocard titled "grass suitable for human consumption should be planted" and Syeda Rizwana Hasan had not made any such comment.
