Youth festival held with differently abled people in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - On the occasion of the Youth Festival, 
Autism and NDD Service Center, a dedicated facility-based hub that provides 
specialized services and support to individuals diagnosed with Autism 
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDDs), of 
Sadar upazila here has organised drawing competition and prize distribution 
ceremony for children and people with special needs.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Lutfun Nahar was present as the chief guest at 
the event held at the conference room of the center this morning.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ariful Islam Prince and Upazila Social 
Service Officer Maksuda Khatun spoke as special guests at the event, among 
others.

The speakers said autistic [people with autism] and special needs people are 
part of our family and society. They should be ensured the right to grow up 
in a healthy and normal environment like other children in the society. 

Later, the chief guest handed over the prizes to the winners of the drawing 
competition.
