SAINT-DENIS DE LA REUNION, April 22, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday said he would attend the funeral of Pope Francis, who died a day earlier aged 88.

"We will attend the pope's funeral as we should," he told reporters. The Vatican has not yet announced a date for the funeral.
